How It Started
My passion for beauty began early, specifically with brows, skin confidence, and the idea of feeling good without makeup. As a kid, I learned firsthand how much skin concerns can affect confidence, which pushed me to experiment, learn, and obsess over transformation-driven beauty solutions from a young age.
Helping people feel confident in their skin quickly became something I was naturally good at and something I loved. But before stepping fully into aesthetics, I followed another calling.
From Educator to Esthetician
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising & Public Relations and a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction, then spent 12 years as a public educator across Texas. I served as a middle school science teacher, instructional specialist, and high school administrator—becoming a campus principal by age 34.
While education shaped my leadership, discipline, and communication skills, it also led to burnout. I reached a point where I knew something had to change. I made the decision to leave my education career and invest in myself; mentally, physically, and professionally.
That decision led me to a long awaited dream of esthetics.
Today
I am the owner, licensed esthetician and permanent makeup artist behind Estie Bestie Parlor, where I combine science-backed skincare, advanced treatments, and PMU to help clients look refreshed, confident, and like the best version of themselves.
